Bloggers Anonymous

Now that I have outed my blog on Facebook (it’s funny to think that not even a year ago, the previous statement would’ve made me recoil in horror), I thought this would be an excellent occasion to introduce you to a few of my classmates who also blog.
- Anthony DiDominizio: Anthony, who blogs at Fuddle Duddle, is our favorite in-house Liberal Party commentator. Whether he chooses politics, sports writing or founds a Michael Ignatieff gossip column, he will go far.
- Alex Leduc: funny and talented, Alex is poised to become the next Anderson Cooper, or whichever TV anchor he decides to unseat.
- Amanda Wenek: Amanda is a whip-smart young woman. She has the brightest, most winning smile on campus, period.
- Diane Eros: Diane, who is in the process or finessing her writing to the (stellar) level of her cooking, tends a food blog called La Kitchenette.
Now, I am sure there are many more of us, blogging incognito, but these are the ones that are blogging in the open. Hopefully this post will encourage those still looming in the darkness, caughing up furballs in their bloggers’ closets, to kick the door open, Rambo-style, and embrace the cathodic light.
If I could do it, they certainly can.

Miss Carolyne,
Until today, I would have thought it impossible to see your ruminations in the public light. But now that I think about it (and see it firsthand), I can’t think of someone more apt to be doing it. It makes me wonder why I never encouraged it in the past.
The world of social media is an interesting one. It can show many sides of us – ones which we may have explored before. But it never truly gives the complete picture. And yet, participating in this world allows us, your audience, to be completely ambiently aware of you, fingers on your pulse – thoughts, joys, pains – that which you choose to let us see.
What time you may lose in the unplugged world, you will gain in a burgeoning one filled with 0s, 1s, laughter, thoughtfulness, rebirths and reconnections.
Welcome to this new playground, Miss Weldon. It’s a pleasure to have you with us.
